The oppressive heat has finally abated, but now Ely is on fire and this is the sky we wake up to. Can't even run the air conditioner because the smoke smell is coming in through it. And believe me when I tell you, the smell outside the house is horrendous. We're considering going someplace to the west for a couple nights.
It's bad... really bad.
