I love trees as well as the next person, yet I'm not sure what brain-trust believes the ash trees along the streets of Silver Bay are 'beautiful', but that person(s) needs to take a long, slow drive and honestly evaluate their condition. The one in front of my house alone is 93% dead and I've repeatedly contacted those in charge to remove it - nothing ever happens. Trimming them does nothing to make them look better - as Edison proves - looking so much better without them. Diseased trees are a danger and ash in particular since they attract long horned Asian beetles, which have a painful bite. Why are these ugly monstrosities still standing?
