Look at the lovely visitors to the bird feeders (food)

A red-bellied woodpecker. 

Not my photo, but both of these guys came yesterday, no fooling. Here in northern MN, both of them... and yet cardinals seem to avoid this area. 

We've had a lot of birds coming... rose-breasted grosbeaks love it, as do finches and the very small and sweet nuthatches.
